Summary:
Golden downy leaves dance their way to honeyed malty heaven, making you feel like a King or Queen!
It is the kind of tea that you drink and just grin. We laugh and look at each other in a way that says: “I can’t believe how good this tea is!”.
The first striking thing about this ludicrously good organic dianhong black tea from one of Yunnan Province’s leading small tea producers is the amount & softness of the down on the bright golden long, curled, dry leaves.
The second striking thing is the aroma from the dry leaves – light fruit and malty, Osmanthus notes abound. These aromas follow through pleasantly in the brew.
The beautifully pure deep amber liquor is wonderfully light with refreshing sweet malt, honey, Osmanthus & gentle copper, leading to a smooth lasting honey copper finish.
After brewing, the leaves maintain a golden hue as the two leaves open gently to reveal the silver gold bud sheltered inside.
We hope you love this limited quantity tea as much as we do.

Add 2 heaped teaspoons per cup (that’s around 3-4 grams) and pour on 100°C water straight off the boil.
Infuse the tea for 2 - 3 minutes and enjoy.
Re-infuse 2 -3 times.
Don’t forget, you can adjust any of the measurements to suit your style!
If you use a piao yi teapot or gaiwan, then infuse for much shorter time and enjoy multiple infusions with a different flavour profile each time!
